This coming Wednesday and Thursday, Synergy show choir will be performing at the Hamilton Fine Arts Center! The show will consist of group performances from Synergy, duets and solos from the group’s members, and songs from the Hamiltones acapella choir. The show will also pay tribute to the large contributors that have made Synergy so special, as well as the seniors that will perform for one last time.
The main set of Synergy has been worked on by the kids, ever since their first days of learning the choreography, all the way back in early August! Synergy has rehearsal Tuesday and Thursday, every 3.2 block, and Wednesday after school from 2:45 to 5 pm. Most of these rehearsals have been student-led, and their choreography has been cleaned by their dance captains: Ava Lally, Luke Wenger, Jillian Arthur, and Gavin Damato.
Synergy has performed at show choir competitions throughout the school year, and has been recognized as one of the kindest show choirs in Wisconsin. They made finals, placing in the top five, at every competition this season, and were awarded the spirit award at three of their four competitions, which recognizes the group that provides the kindest energy and spirit for the teams around them.
This year, Synergy’s show theme is Stronger. Their set consists of many uplifting pieces, including “Stronger,” “Never Give Up,” “Build It Up,” “Hold My Hand/Hold On Tight,” and “Higher.” The set encapsulates perseverance and uplifts its viewers, and is sure to entertain any Pop Show audience member.
The group has been working tirelessly on an incredible show, you won’t want to miss it!
