Since the last article, Key Club has been really active! Key Club has been heavily involved in Winclusion Wednesdays. We’ve made ornaments, paper mache snowmen and snowflakes, and we’ve played Candyland! These activities have been exciting and a great way to get Key Club involved in the school's community. The members love these days and can’t wait to keep doing them! Additionally, Hamilton Key Club is now officially chartered, meaning we are officially a part of the Kiwanis group.

Key Club has also been having monthly meetings where we are able to go over our agenda, complete activities, and get members excited about the club’s mission. During our meetings, we’ve successfully planned many activities that Key Club is going to complete or already has completed. Some activities that Key Club has already done are planning a food drive and making Veterans Day cards and delivering them to a veterans’ center.

Some of our upcoming activities include planning a senior night where senior citizens in our community can come to the school for a tour and to watch a basketball game. This is a great way for us to connect seniors with our school and show them a glimpse of our lives.

Key Club also had a very successful experience at their first club fair for the middle schoolers. We were able to talk with many future high schoolers and their parents. Many great future Key Clubbers were discovered! If all of this sounds like fun or something you would like to be a part of next year, feel free to reach out to Mrs. Hinytz (hinylo@hamilton.k12.wi.us) or Mr. Roth (rothni@hamilton.k12.wi.us)!
