Last time, we focused on the importance of sleep and rest. But what about when that is all we want to do? To just sleep, nap, sleep, repeat. Well, according to some large organizations, such as Mayo Clinic, all of us should get some exercise. Getting exercise can help improve your mental health in countless ways. Even walking outside when you’re really down can help you feel just a little happier.
Exercise releases endorphins and other chemicals to make you experience joy and take your mind off of worries, freeing you from some anxiety.
Mayo Clinic recommends thirty minutes of exercise a day, which can also increase your self-esteem and confidence as you hit your goals. Not only that, but exercise can also help your sleep, which in turn helps your mental health even more. Exercise even increases your sharpness, boosting your brain and memory.
So this week, get some exercise, even if just for a short while.
As always, enjoy yourself, and have a great week from us at Charger Press!
