What are your future plans in the sport?
I play club volleyball for Milwaukee Sting and I will be playing college volleyball at UW-Milwaukee.
Have you improved your game in the past year?
I have improved my game in the past year by putting in hard work during practice and in the weight room.
Who is your favorite pro-athlete volleyball player?
My favorite pro athlete is Kelli Bates.
How’s the season going so far?
The season is going very well so far. Our greatest strength is that we are very close outside of volleyball. We like to spend time with each other when we aren’t in the gym which allows us to play better together.
Do you play any sports outside of this one?
No, but I do like to lift and run.
What hobbies do you do outside of school?
During summer I like to swim, tan, wakeboard, tube, and hang out on the boat. I also like spending time with friends and watching movies etc.
When did you start playing volleyball?
I starting playing volleyball when I was 10 years old.
Favorite 5 things (not sport-related)?
Sleep, tanning, food, my friends, and swimming.
What's your warm-up routine?
Nothing special… I just talk with my friends and joke around with them.
Is this the first sport you played?
No, this wasn’t the first sport I played. I used to play basketball, baseball, softball, and even rode horses. I played basketball for the longest time until I decided to focus on volleyball because I was good enough to play in college.
Why do you continue to play this sport?
I have made my best friends through this sport and I enjoy winning and pushing myself to be the best that I can be.
What would be your ultimate achievement for this sport, ever?
My ultimate goal is to win the NCAA tournament when I get to Milwaukee.
What’s your favorite memory from this season?
Beating Germantown in 3 to win regionals!
What’s the funniest memory from this season?
Too many funny moments to choose from.
What advice do you have for younger athletes playing
your sport?
I would tell them to play your hardest each time you step on the court and to put in extra work outside of practice and games.
