In Heaven, My Friend
Tears on my pillow
Fresh every night
I can no longer count
How much I’ve cried
It won’t go away
The grief and the guilt
It’s like a bottomless pit
That no time can fill
I feel you every day
The cotton candy skies
Every morning
And every night
A piece of me has died
As you have
But maybe I will see you again
In heaven, my friend
