Hamilton Students Recognized in Regional Art Contest
Two Hamilton High School art students earned awards in the 2023 Scholastic Art Awards – Wisconsin Regional Competition.
The Wisconsin Scholastic Art Awards program, which features outstanding works by students in grades 7 – 12, is the regional section of the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards National Program conducted by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers, Inc.
Jessica Cunningham earned Honorable Mention in photography expression for “writing with light” and taking a long exposure photograph.

Ace Silloway earned a Silver Key award in photography expression for a double exposure self-portrait titled “Detached from Reality.” Silloway’s photograph will be on display at the Milwaukee Art Museum from Feb. 4 - March 10.
