Hamilton Students Chosen National Merit Finalists

Hamilton Students Chosen National Merit Finalists

Six Hamilton High School seniors have been named finalists in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Competition. The students are Erik Chevalier, Aashi Iyengar, Emily Karls, Aidan Konop, Marisa Lehner, and Ely Ostdick.

“I believe this is the first time in HHS history that we have had the honor of having SIX National Merit Scholarship finalists at Hamilton as well as the first time that we have had all semi-finalists move on to the finals round,” said Hamilton High School Principal Rebecca Newcomer. “We are so proud of their academic accomplishments and even more proud of their overall character. These students are role models in and out of the classroom and we are lucky to have them as Chargers.”

Finalists must have an outstanding academic record throughout high school, be endorsed and recommended by the school principal, write an essay and earn SAT scores that confirm the students’ earlier test performance.

Congratulations for your hard work!
