Stats analysis of Week 8 predictions: Nice week for Achintya as he recorded a 82% (13/16) and Tirish continues his struggling streak at 50% (8/16). This takes Achintya’s overall performance to a 63% (66/90) and Tirish declines to a 54% (49/90).

Texans vs Jets
Achintya: (Texans) The Jets are coming off an awful showing and expect more of the same to continue against the Texans. The Texans on the other hand are red hot as C.J. Stroud leads the way and looks to have an easy matchup against a suspect Jets defense. (28-10)
Tirish: (Jets) In this Texans vs. Jets matchup, we’re looking at C.J. Stroud’s promising arm against a Jets defense that’s got a knack for pressure. If Stroud can stay cool under the Jets' rush, Houston has a real shot, but New York’s defense might just keep the Texans in check. I’m calling it close, Jets 20, Texans 17.
Sunday, November 3rd
Saints vs Panthers
Achintya: (Saints) Both the Saints and Panthers are coming off poor showings, but the Saints are looking to be the better team with the pieces they have left. The Panthers are looking to rectify their season which is pretty much over. This won’t be a very exciting game but expect the Saints to take the advantage of the poor QB play of Bryce Young. (17-10)
Tirish: (Saints) In this Saints vs. Panthers clash, Derek Carr and the New Orleans offense will be looking to fire on all cylinders against a Panthers team that’s still finding its groove. Carolina’s young QB Bryce Young has shown flashes, but facing a seasoned Saints defense could make for a rough outing. I’m leaning towards the Saints here, Saints 24, Panthers 16.
Commanders vs Giants
Achintya: (Commanders) Wow! What a way to win a match. The Commanders won off a hail mary which is almost never seen anymore. The Giants will try to keep up with the high powered offense of the Commanders but look for the Commanders led by Jayden Daniels to take the top off a weak secondary of the Giants. (28-14)
Tirish: (Commanders) In this NFC East showdown, the Commanders' dynamic defense looks primed to put serious pressure on a struggling Giants offense. If Washington's QB Sam Howell can avoid turnovers, they'll likely have the upper hand against New York's inconsistent defense. This one feels tilted towards the Commanders—Commanders 23, Giants 13.
Dolphins vs Bills
Achintya: (Bills) The Dolphins got Tua back but that isn’t enough against a team as strong as the Bills. The Bills are looking good with Josh Allen coming back into a mvp like form for which we were so used to seeing out of him. Look for a high scoring game with the Bills leading the way off a big game from Josh Allen. (35-27)
Tirish: (Bills) In this Dolphins vs. Bills showdown, we’ll see Miami’s explosive offense, led by Tua Tagovailoa, up against Buffalo’s rock-solid defense, anchored by Josh Allen’s playmaking ability on the other side of the ball. If Miami’s speed can break through the Bills' defense, it could be a high-scoring affair, but Buffalo’s experience at home gives them a slight edge. Expect fireworks in this one—Bills 31, Dolphins 28.
Chargers vs Browns
Achintya: (Browns) The Browns are coming off a thriller with their new QB Jameis Winston leading the way. The Chargers are coming off a slow performance in which their offense and defense both looked out of sync. Expect a blowout game with Jameis Winston leading the way. (35-13)
Tirish: (Browns) In this Chargers vs. Browns clash, Justin Herbert’s high-flying offense will face off against Cleveland's stout defense, led by Myles Garrett. If Herbert can handle the Browns' pass rush, L.A. could put up some big plays, but Cleveland’s ground game might control the tempo and keep the Chargers’ offense off the field. This one’s close, but I’ll give a slight edge to the Browns—Browns 24, Chargers 21.
Patriots vs Titans
Achintya: (Patriots) The Patriots are looking fun this year and hopefully Drake Maye gets healthy fast. The Titans are struggling a lot this year with weak QB play and giving a ton of points up. Expect for more of the same with the Patriots dominating with their above average run game. (32-17)
Tirish: (Titans) In this Patriots vs. Titans matchup, we’ve got two teams trying to get their offenses rolling, with Mac Jones looking to steady New England’s attack and Derrick Henry powering Tennessee’s ground game. If the Pats' defense can contain Henry, they stand a good chance, but the Titans at home might be tough to crack. Leaning towards a Titans win here—Titans 20, Patriots 17.
Cowboys vs Falcons
Achintya: (Falcons) The Falcons led by Kirk Cousins look to be playing some of the best football that we can remember in the past few years. Whereas, the Cowboys are the exact opposite with them struggling heavily on offense, their specialty. Expect more of the same with the stifling play of the Falcons defense to continue. (28-10)
Tirish: (Cowboys) In this Cowboys vs. Falcons matchup, Dak Prescott and the Dallas offense look to keep the momentum going against an Atlanta defense that’s had some struggles. Meanwhile, the Falcons' ground game, led by Bijan Robinson, will test the Cowboys' front line. This one feels like Dallas has the edge—Cowboys 27, Falcons 20.
Raiders vs Bengals
Achintya: (Bengals) The Bengals are coming off a game in which they should have been more competitive. The Raiders are struggling this whole season and that has contributed to a lack of offensive output. Expect more of the same with the Bengals Joe Burrow is to be expected to pop off this week. (35-20)
Tirish: (Bengals) In this Raiders vs. Bengals face-off, Joe Burrow and Cincinnati’s explosive passing game will try to light up the scoreboard against a Raiders defense that’s had its ups and downs. If Vegas can get Josh Jacobs going on the ground, they might slow things down, but the Bengals’ firepower could be too much to handle. I’m leaning Bengals here—Bengals 30, Raiders 21.
Broncos vs Ravens
Achintya: (Ravens) The Ravens led by Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry are the all stars of the NFL and they look to continue their tandem’s success. The Broncos are having a pretty good season with new rookie Bo Nix but expect them to struggle today against a tough Ravens defense led by Roquan Smith and Kyle Hamilton. (24-10)
Tirish:(Browns) In this Broncos vs. Raiders clash, Russell Wilson will be aiming to find a rhythm against a Raiders defense that's shown some cracks, while Vegas looks to get Josh Jacobs rolling to control the pace. Denver's defense, though, might be the difference-maker if they can keep Jimmy Garoppolo in check. I’m leaning towards a close upset—Broncos 23, Raiders 20.
Bears vs Cardinals
Achintya: (Bears) The Bears lost their game at the end last week and the Cardinals won their game at the end last week. But, the Bears are the much stronger team with QB Caleb Williams compared to the Cardinals and their subpar offense. Look for a one sided game with the Bears leading throughout. (38-10)
Tirish: (Bears) In this Bears vs. Cardinals matchup, Justin Fields is looking to unleash his playmaking ability against a Cardinals defense that can be hit or miss. If Chicago can establish a solid ground game, they might keep Kyler Murray and Arizona's offense on the sidelines. I’m thinking this one could go either way, but I’ll give the Bears a slight edge—Bears 24, Cardinals 21.
Eagles vs Jaguars
Achintya: (Eagles) The Eagles won their game last week in an emphatic way led by Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkely. The Jaguars barely lost led by a surprisingly good QB performance by Trevor Lawrence which hasn’t happened all this year. Expect this as an anomaly as the Eagles should be able to contain him and lead with their strong run heavy offense. (42-24)
Tirish: (Eagles) In this Eagles vs. Jaguars showdown, Jalen Hurts and the Philly offense will look to assert their dominance against a young Jacksonville squad led by Trevor Lawrence. The Eagles’ strong defense could pose problems for the Jags, but if Lawrence finds his groove, it could turn into a high-scoring affair. I’m feeling the Eagles will take it—Eagles 27, Jaguars 23.
Rams vs Seahawks
Achintya: (Rams) The Rams are finally healthy and are looking great as a result of it. The Seahawks were definitely missing the play of D.K Metcalf last week and their offense was hurt in a big way because of it. Expect more of the same with Rams coming out on top led by Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp in a big day for the duo. (49-27)
Tirish: (Seahawks) In this Rams vs. Seahawks clash, Matthew Stafford and the Rams' passing attack will face off against Seattle’s secondary, which has been looking to bounce back. Meanwhile, the Seahawks’ dynamic duo of Geno Smith and Kenneth Gainwell will aim to exploit any weaknesses in L.A.’s defense. This one’s shaping up to be a fun shootout, but I’ll give the edge to the Seahawks—Seahawks 28, Rams 24.
Lions vs Packers
Achintya: (Packers) GO PACK GO! The Packers are going to be playing the number one team in the NFC and their divisional rivals in the Lions. Look for a very even game for both sides as the Packers are led by a top QB in the NFL Jordan Love look to come up on top over a Lions side led by Jared Goff. (42-35)
Tirish: (Lions) In this Lions vs. Packers matchup, both teams are eyeing a big win as they battle for NFC North supremacy. Jared Goff and the Lions’ high-flying offense will face a tough challenge against Green Bay’s defense, while Jordan Love looks to prove himself against a ferocious Detroit pass rush. I’m feeling a close game here, but I’ll give the Lions a slight edge—Lions 26, Packers 23.
Colts vs Vikings
Achintya: (Vikings) The VIkings are coming off two successive losses but couldn’t ask for a better matchup after that. The Colts are benching their future star QB Anthony Richardson and look to be trying Joe Flacco as QB. This move will fail in a big way as the Vikings led by Justin Jefferson and Aaron Jones will have a big day and be the key factors to the game. (40-20)
Tirish: (Vikings) In this Colts vs. Vikings matchup, Anthony Richardson will look to showcase his dual-threat abilities against a Minnesota defense that's been a bit inconsistent. On the flip side, Kirk Cousins and the Vikings will aim to exploit any weaknesses in Indy’s secondary with their explosive receiving corps. It’s shaping up to be an exciting game, but I’ll give the Vikings a slight edge—Vikings 27, Colts 24.
Monday, November 4th
Buccaneers vs Chiefs
Achintya: (Chiefs) The Chiefs are still undefeated. It’s not even fun reporting their games as it seems they win every week. Maybe an upset by the Buccaneers? Probably not with the Chiefs looking strong with their high powered offense led by Patrick Mahomes and their stifling defense. The Buccaneers led by Baker Mayfield will look to keep up with them but end up failing as their offense is facing a lot of injury concerns currently. (42-30)
Tirish: (Chiefs) In this Buccaneers vs. Chiefs matchup, we’ve got a classic showdown of veterans with Tom Brady looking to outsmart Patrick Mahomes. The Bucs' defense will have its hands full trying to contain Mahomes’ explosive playmaking, while Tampa Bay will rely on their ground game to keep Kansas City’s offense off the field. I’m thinking the Chiefs will edge this one out—Chiefs 31, Buccaneers 24.
