Luke Lehnen, currently a senior at Hamilton, has been playing baseball for years. He recently committed to playing college baseball at Concordia University St. Paul.

Lehnen’s teammate, senior Nate Glapa, says about him, “Luke has been a hard worker his whole baseball career, I’ve been playing with Luke since I was 8 and he has always been a good leader and a very good player to be around.”

His current high school coach, Coach Schramek, also says about Lehnen, “In the years Luke has been on the varsity he has proven to be one of the top defensive outfielders in the area.”

What is one thing that a coach has told you that you will carry into playing in college?

To have the same feeling when you are 4-4 as you do when you are 0-4.

What advice do you have for younger players?

Have fun playing, baseball is fun.

What are you most excited about next year playing for Concordia University St. Paul?

I’m most excited to be a part of a great group of guys in a winning program and play in a competitive D2 conference.

Is there anyone you’d like to give a positive shoutout to who has been instrumental in your journey?

My parents, they have given me all the opportunities and support to get me to where I am now!
